Any floor’s a dance floor in Havana. High above the rag-tag pastel clutter of the city. The invisible street like a fissure through a bed of vibrant granite. So these dancers dance unseen, watched only by me. Dance for dancing’s sake. Just for two. No transaction or applause. A couple celebrating being together, being alive, being Cuban. Just for them.
